Nina & Frederik - Christmas time in London town
Tekst: Frederik Jan Gustav Floris baron van Pallandt / Muziek: David Flatau
(1961)

When a million stars fall down
Gently over London town
In a magic atmosphere
Christmas time is drawing near

Children watching every day
More and more toys on display
Candy, fruit and sapping pig
Little eyes grow awfully big

London shines brighter than before
Big Ben’s bells ring a little more
One big tree, all the way from Norway
Owns Trafalgar Square

Piccadilly wears a crown
Leicester Square a golden gown
And the Strand looks really grand
Chestnut benders warm their hands

On a yearly escapade
Through a tinsel tape parade
Ruby cheeked and burden down
Santa Claus has come to town

London shines brighter than before
Big Ben’s bells ring a little more
One big tree, all the way from Norway
Owns Trafalgar Square

People rushing up and down
All the snowflake eiderdown
Father tense has lost his frown
Christmas time in London town

Christmas time in London town
Christmas time in London town
Christmas time in London town
Christmas time in London town
